I’ve talked to literally hundreds of coaches like you who want to build a thriving coaching practice and the number one problem that shows up, again and again, is finding clients.
So if you’ve ever thought to yourself, wow I wish I had more clients but I don’t know where to start, keep reading.
My response is always, “How many people are you connecting with on a regular basis?”
“How many people are you getting on the phone with? How many people are you reaching out to set up calls with? How many people are you engaging with on social media?”
The truth is . . . Connection leads to clients.
There are dozens of ways of connecting:
- Do a 50-Conversation-Challenge
- Go to networking events
- Reach out to people you know that you haven’t spoken to in a while
- Do informational interviews
- Host an online support group
- Write a blog with content that really helps people
- etc. etc.
Most coaches who join the coachingMBA are not creating enough connections. They aren’t reaching out, they aren’t creating value, and they aren’t joining the conversations that their prospects are in. If you don’t have opportunities to connect, you don’t have opportunities to find clients.
This is why in the coachingMBA we don’t leave it up to chance. We come up with and workshop ideas together. And if they don’t work, then we support each other to get into action.
So where do I find my clients?
For years I’ve run a coaching practice that regularly produces $250k – $300k in revenue because I—consistently, persistently, deliberately, and repeatedly—find ways to connect with people.
That’s how I find my clients.
Some of what I do has taken years to build up, but some of what I do, you could do starting tomorrow.
